Fire-resistant-glazing specialist FendorHansen helped London Underground meet its objectives of safety, practicality, futuristic aesthetics and cost-effectiveness at its new Canada Water tube station, by installing Clearline, an innovative frameless smoke, and fire-resistant glazing system.

Main contractor was Carillion.

Jubilee Line Architects specified Clearline for this Jubilee Line Extension station to provide smoke containment screens on the platform and on the passenger footbridge in the ticket hall. FendorHansen's Clearline offers a high level of unimpaired vision.
