Specialist subcontractor FendorHansen has helped architect Alsop & Stormer transform a corner of London by providing extensive areas of fire-resistant glazing for its dramatic new Peckham library.

FendorHansen's internal fire protection elements provide optimum protection. Highperformance Fineline steel glazing with Pyrolithic glass was used to offer screens and doors with specified narrow sightlines. To allow for building movement and thermal expansion Hansen incorporates feature flashing around the head of all its screens in its structural design.
