Hanna's £15,000 prize

York-based Hanna Conservation has won this year's Pilgrim Trust Conservation Awards.The practice was presented with a cheque for £15,000 for a nine-year research programme into the stonework of a 13th century Chapter House.

Images of David Chipperfield's winning entry for the BBC Scotland headquarters were released yesterday. The practice beat Dutch firm Mecanoo Architecten for the £30 million building on Pacific Quay. More images can be seen on the AJ's website.
