Hangers let floors take the load early

  • Comment

The new masonry-restraint hanger range from Simpson Strong-Tie allows flooring to be supported on hangers and used as a safe working platform without time-consuming propping. Safety Fast hangers are simply placed over the blockwork of the inner leaf of external cavity/internal part walls in the same way as a traditional hook-over hanger. Two stiffening webs to the top bearing plates, which are subsequently built into the masonry course, allow the full Safe Working Load to be achieved, eliminating the need for three courses of fully cured masonry to be built above.
