Halliday Clark launches 'off-the-peg' Hunt House business

  • Comment

Bradford-based Halliday Clark has set up an offshoot company to sell ‘off the shelf’ versions of its SIPS-built Hunt House

The practice has formed a joint venture company with Tom and Emily Hunt - the clients behind the £135,000 three-bedroom end-terrace house in Woodseats, Sheffield - to ‘bring affordable, low impact housing to the market’.

Adam Clark of Halliday Clark said: ‘Having developed a range of two and three bedroomed prototypes, we are now actively searching for its first developments site.
‘A funding model is being developed for a form of shared equity, where the ownership staircases over time in relation to the energy savings established against a similar traditional dwelling.’
