The team of architects involved in Arsenal Football Club's stadium redevelopment has committed itself to a range of green measures in the design and construction of the project. The practices - HOK Sport, Allies and Morrison Architects and CZWG Architects - have committed themselves to reducing waste, adopting BREEAM eco-home standards and using solar power in the development.

'The new stadium represents an opportunity to regenerate the area in a forward-looking and sustainable way, ' said Arsenal director Ken Friar. 'By adopting a series of green measures as an integral part of the design we hope to make a real contribution to minimising energy use.'
