Watch out for a new international design competition set to be launched for a 'Wales Space Centre' on the Swansea docks, commissioned to mirror Grimshaw's successful scheme in Leicester. Organised by Benoy, the firm masterplanning the surrounding area, locals are determined that the project will attract 'seriously high-profile practices'. Just one question: why does Britain need two space centres when we've never even had a space programme?
