Two residential schemes with tall towers and sweeping views, designed by the Goddard Manton Partnership, are to go up in London's Docklands. Stepped flats to Barrier Point (above left) have terraces which overlook a new park. The scheme next to the Thames Barrier includes an 18-storey circular tower and was the subject of a competition. Planning approval has just been granted. Smooth-rendered flats to Pierhead Lock (right) curve around an old dock, have glass stair blocks and end with a 15-storey tower. Building, by Barratt, in West India Dock has started and is due to finish next year.
