Glory of Glasgow

Work is progressing well at specialist company Ibstock Hathernware on the restoration and substantial recreation of one of the most exuberant of 19th century creations. Glasgow's Doulton Fountain was dismantled for assessment, repair and relocation as part of the £14.5 million refurbishment of Glasgow Green. Constructed in buff and pink terracotta, the fountain is 14m high and has many groups of sculptures.
