A £500 million mixed-use redevelopment of Glasgow Harbour by Kohn Pedersen Fox has finally won outline planning consent from the Scottish Executive after months of uncertainty. The move follows the local authority's decision in March to grant conditional outline planning approval for the project, one of the UK's largest regeneration schemes. Plans for the high-density development on a 52ha brownfield site include retail outlets, offices, leisure facilities, two riverfront hotels and 2,500 new homes.
