GETTING TO GRIPS WITH JCT

  • Comment
new publications

While Tony Blackler explains above how difficult it is to get to grips with the jct contract, David Chappell has written the fifth edition of a book which aims to make it all clearer. Understanding jct Standard Building Contracts deals with the three major forms of contract in the jct series: the Standard Form of Building Contract with Quantities 1980 (jct 1980); the Intermediate Form of Building Contract 1984 (ifc 84); and the Agreement for Minor Building Works 1980 (mw 80). This newest edition, at 113 pages, incorporates the latest amendments to the Standard Form of Building Contract, and runs through the contracts topic by topic. Published by E & F N Spon, the book costs £15.99.
