Fulham fc has responded to views from local groups, politicians and advisory bodies and made key changes to its plans to build a new, £70 million, Premiership-standard stadium. The London club last week submitted new plans for a 30,000 capacity stadium, reduced in height by 1m and in width by 5m. It now includes fewer apartments in a standalone block to the north rather than incorporated into the main building. Designed by Snell Associates, the new look scheme (pictured) has also ditched plans for a pier; includes materials thought to be 'more sympathetic to the listed buildings'; reinstates Craven Steps down to the foreshore and draws in the new river wall by 3.3m.
