Free for AJ readers: Stephen Wiltshire 2000 calendar

News

A riverside panorama of London by the autistic artist Stephen Wiltshire, featuring David Marks Julia Barfield's British Airways London Eye (formerly the Millennium Wheel), along with Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and County Hall is the subject of this year's AJ/Alumasc readers' calendar, available free on application. The drawing was produced on Sunday 24 October from a vantage point at the top of Millbank Tower close to the Tate Gallery. At this point the pods were not in place but they were clearly recalled by Wiltshire from a cursory glance on television or perhaps from a newspaper. Respondents to the offer also have the chance to win the original, which is worth £6000. For details, see the advertisement on pages 18 and 19.
