Four-letter words are architecturally 'useful'

  • Comment

I would like to complain about the man who complained about the man who did the swearing ('Please keep naughty words out of the aj', Letters, aj 07.10.99). The naughty word to which David Suitor referred was used in its true sense, not gratuitously, and is a word I often find incredibly useful in discussing architecture, along with others of a similar nature. It is petty to complain about such a thing, as after all, the aj is meant for intelligent adults. Don Gray and the aj have my full support in being allowed to say ******* where necessary.
