The Italian Government is set to approve the bill for Zaha Hadid's national museum of contemporary art. The senate is formalising the law, giving £6.8 million for the design phase of the former barracks outside Rome. Around £35 million over the next three years will go on rebuilding. Hadid is speaking on the project on 1 June at 18.30 at the Italian Cultural Institute. Details 0171 235 1461
