We remember the rising and falling holders of our (recent) childhood as markers of the weeks in the capital. At various times we both left, and on our return these giants had subsided, settled into the ground leaving their arms uplifted, empty, to the sky. Now we raise them again. Now they rise and fall at the whims of the remembering city - a populace aware of the layers of memory as much as the layers of their ever shifting metropolis.
Much like Roald Dahl’s BFG and his caverns full of dream or like Carlos Ruiz Zafón’s Library of Forgotten Books our proposal is a space with the potential to realise an almost magical confluence between limitless pasts, presents and futures.
