Open House London is taking place this weekend (21-22 September) - take the chance to experience first-hand many of London’s green buildings

Where 407 St John Street, EC1V 4AB
Opening Saturday 10am – 5pm, Sunday 1-5pm
This 2011 Stirling Prize shortlisted building reinvented a 1980s office block. AHMM reused the existing concrete frame, creating a striking atrium and wrapping it in a highly efficient glazed façade.
Architect Bennetts Associates with Baynes & Mitchell
Where 1 Rawstone Place, EC1V 7NL
Opening Saturday 10am – 5pm
Bennetts Architects are opening up their offices, a conversion of redundant industrial buildings and an 18th-century barn. They will be showcasing a range of recent projects.
City of Westminster College
Architect Schmidt Hammer Lassen
Where Paddington Green Campus, W2 1NB
Opening Saturday 10.30am – 4.30pm
This seven-story college completed in 2010 has a number of green features including an ETFE roof, solar shading, green roofs, and rainwater harvesting.
Architect Pitman Tozer Architects
Where 28D Monmouth Road, W2 4UT
Opening Sunday 10am – 12noon
This narrow infill house, won the RIBA Manser Medal in 2009. The building fits snugly between two listed buildings in the conservation area.
Mildmay Community Centre
Where Woodville Road, N16 8NA
Opening Saturday 11am – 4pm
This community centre was one of the first retrofit projects to achieve Passivhaus certification in the UK.
Architect Wilkinson Eyre
Where One Siemens Brothers Way, Royal Victoria Docks, E16 1GB
Opening Saturday 10am – 5pm, Sunday 10am – 5pm
This high-profile £30 million sustainability centre features exhibition spaces, conference facilities and a technology and innovation centre for Siemens.
The Hub – Regent’s Park Sports Pavilion

Where Regent’s Park, Outer Circle, NW1 5HA
Opening Saturday 9am – 5pm, Sunday 9am – 5pm
This circular building is sat in the landscape with 90 per cent submerged beneath a sloping grass mound.
