i4orm is a designer furniture and accessory e-store.

It says on the screen it is 'the most comprehensive buying source for modernism on the web!'.

You can browse through rapidly loaded thumbnails for the sort of kit you see in the Sunday magazines and the design monthlies. But where is it located? You are always advised to give a serious miss to mail-order companies which advertise without postal addresses and I have to say that is an even better rule with e-order. I had to read pages of small print covering terms and conditions to find out that the company is based in Garrick Street, London WC2. So presumably there is a warehouse somewhere out in the bush. Apart from this and a minor conceptual glitch on the browse page it is really well designed: simple, fast and clear - including information on how much you have to pay for each item. No designers are credited.
