Fitzroy loses £100m job

Fitzroy Robinson appeared to have been dropped from a £100 million residential scheme in Knightsbridge this week.

The reasons behind the move were kept secret as AJwent to press and lawyers were mediating between the practice and its client,198 Knightsbridge Development .

'Fitzroy Robinson is no longer working on the scheme, 'said the client's representative, Seranea Tsang.'It is not the right time to talk about it because we need to sort out details with our solicitors.

Another architect is in the process of being selected.'Fitzroy Robinson's director in charge of the scheme, Bill Tulloch, declined to comment.The scheme is currently with planners at Westminster City Council and a decision on the detailed planning application is expected later this year.
