The 1,800-student school was drawn up by consultants at multidisciplinary outfit 2020 Liverpool - a joint venture between Mouchel and Liverpool City Council which was set up in 2003.

Replacing a series of mobile classrooms, a new block adds to the existing 1920s buildings on the site.
