Fibre optics illuminate all things Texan

  • Comment

Experience in conservation and applied fibre-optic lighting has won Absolute Action another commission for museum lighting, this time at the Texas State History Museum in Austin. With no UV emissions, fibre optics provide precise and effective illumination without harming any of the artefacts on display. Four types of light sources were used in 50 systems; the metal-halide Spectralux 6000 plus standard, miniature and sound-tolight versions of the low-voltage Spectralux 3000.
