The ARB has secured a criminal conviction against Paul Nzenwa who was found guilty of practising as an architect without being registered. He was fined £1,500 and ordered to pay £1,000 costs.

The fine is one of the highest ever imposed by a court over abuse of title. 'I hope that those who seek to obtain work through deception of this kind will be deterred by this prosecution, ' said ARB chief executive Robin Vaughan.
