[FIRST LOOK] This £37m building by ADP for Liverpool John Moores University will provide a home for the Faculty of Business and Law, Liverpool Screen School and the University’s new Professional Centre

Standing on the strategically important junction between Brownlow Hill and Clarence Street, the building aims to provide an impressive gateway for students, residents and visitors to both Liverpool’s Knowledge Quarter and the Mount Pleasant Campus.

With around 11,500m² of flexible, high-quality space over six floors, the building will include three large lecture theatres, IT suites and a range of medium-sized teaching and seminar spaces. An integral part of the design has been to create a diversity of space for students.

The project is currently at tender stage, and is due for completion at the start of the academic year in 2011.

Previously in the Knowledge Quarter, ADP had designed designed and relocated the Proudman Oceanographic Laboratory, home to the British Oceanographic Data Centre.
