The roof of the Geevor Tin Mine in Cornwall has been replaced using some 5,000m 2of Eternit's Profile 6 and Profile 3 weatherproof fibre-cement panels. The challenging brief involved replacement of the asbestos coverings over 65 dilapidated roof slopes, all with different pitches and shapes, without disturbing the important artefacts housed within the largest preserved tin mine in Europe.
