Ecophon, part of leading international materials company Saint-Gobain, has launched a new range of sound-absorbing wall panels featuring striking digital designs.
The new Muralis range includes a special Designer Collection and Classic Collection. Featuring five unique patterns and styles, the Muralis Designer Collection was created by five young Swedish designers, Celine Cavallin, Susanna Sivonen, Kicki Nyborg, Maria Westerberg and Louise Videlyck. Ecophon asked each designer to create a pattern which is an expression of their own taste and style, resulting in a stunning collection of exclusive black and white and colour designs.
A further 15 patterns are included in the Muralis Classic Collection. These designs have been carefully chosen to suit the interior design of particular environments. Vibrant, colourful and interesting patterns have been created with schools in mind and soft, discrete and subtle styles are suited to healthcare spaces.
In addition, Ecophon’s Texona acoustic wall panels are now available in a range of 16 colours each described as a ‘flavour’ including ‘seasalt’, ‘liquorice’ and ‘tangerine’.
Paul Lake, managing director at Ecophon, explains how the new ranges will give interior designers more flexibility and choice: ‘Creating good room acoustics is becoming more of a challenge for interior designers than ever before. They need to balance the aesthetic look of a room with practical need for a positive sound environment. Therefore, our new wall panel ranges have been designed to offer a variety of patterns and styles enabling interior designers to choose a practical acoustic solution that can add something extra to a space, whether it’s a classroom, office or hospital room.’
