DSDHA has won approval from Westminster City Council for the redevelopment of the Hog In The Pound site in Central London

Developed by the Kenmore Property Group and Appley Properties, plans for the proposed development outlines the replacement of the existing pub with a new mixed-use retail, office and residential scheme.

The new development, located at the junction of Oxford Street and South Molton Street will comprise a retail unit extending over the basement, ground and first floors of the building, with a further four floors of office and residential accommodation above, totalling 836m².

Approval was granted by the Westminster City Council.

It rounds off a good fortnight for the firm, which saw it bag the contest to overhaul Waterloo City Square in London. The firm saw off competition from Lifschutz Davidson Sandilands and EDAW to re-design the street layout in and around the IMAX roundabout, Waterloo Road and Waterloo Station.
