DSDHA has scooped its first ever skyscraper commission to design a 30-storey London tower
The project – for which the client and specific location have yet to be confirmed – is the studio’s tallest building win so far, and is understood to be in the early stages of design development.
The Abell House site will feature 145 private units, while Cleland House will be redeveloped to feature 59 private apartments with 50 social homes and 31 flats. The original buildings were designed by TP Bennett in the 1930s but were re-clad with granite in 1985.
Across London, the practice’s triangle-shaped tower will be the tallest in the Olympic Athletes’ Village when it completes later this year.
