Heat Wave by Joris Laarman

MATERIALS Concrete, aluminium and glass fibre

APPEARANCE The baroque styling of the radiator gives the appearance of it 'creeping' across the wall

DIMENSIONS Dependent on the configuration of the modules

SPECIAL PROPERTIES This is a modular radiator with four basic elements which can be extended to specification. The large surface area offered by the design enables excellent heat exchange. The pipes used for the interior of the radiator are triple-walled, this makes them less likely to expand and allows them to be covered in glass-fibre reinforced concrete.

FINISHES Glass fibre reinforced concrete or aluminium

OTHER PRODUCTS IN RANGE A heatwave radiator that uses hot water rather than electricity is planned for commercial release in early 2007
