Traditional single-camber plain clay tiles from Dreadnought Tiles have been used to bring colour, variety and interest to the roof tops of the Vale Royal Abbey housing estate in a historic part of Cheshire. Negotiating dropped eaves and hipped dormers, the Brown Antique Sandfaced tiles won for the development the Best New Build Clay Roof (Housing) in the inaugural Clay Roofing Award by the Clay Roof Tile Council.
