Doors keep city traditions safe

  • Comment

Constructed with solid timber stiles, rails and panels, doorsets from LS Longden met period requirements as well as 30-minute fire resistance in the conversion of three historic buildings in London's Fleet Street, the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. Virtually all joinery in the arrangement of three Grade II-listed buildings had to be replaced, with more than 200 traditional doors supplied, with raised and fielded panels, in stained mahogany to match the originals.
