The AJ is holding a one-day conference on the Disability Discrimination Act. Issues to be discussed include new legal obligations; best practice; commercial and ethical benefits; advising clients; cost-effective ways of designing for disabled access; and, crucially, the implications of changes to the property adjustment provisions of Part 3 of the Disability Discrimination Act, which come into force in 2004. The event will take place on 15 November at Sadlers Wells, London EC1, and costs £225 plus VAT (£195 plus VAT for AJ subscribers and members of the Employers Forum on Disability).
