Developer Minerva has submitted £800 million plans for a total of 100,000m2 of 'landmark' headquarters buildings in the City of London designed by Nicholas Grimshaw and Foster and Partners. Grimshaw has designed St Boltoph's house (above left), a 52,500m2 14-storey building for 5000 people with two 4200m2 dealing floors and 2800m2 of retail for a single store. The scheme includes a 450-person amphitheatre-style auditorium in the central area of the building with a suspended 'glass road' above it. Foster's has designed the 10-storey, 44,200m2 Walbrook scheme (right) between Bank and Cannon Street stations, providing one of the largest trading floors in the central core with an area of 5200m2. The scheme also includes 3700m2 of retail space.
