Delicious dining choices out in the wild west

You really should get out more if you could not find anywhere to eat after the Stirling Prize fiasco at the Science Museum in London.

There are two good Polish restaurants in Exhibition Road, Ognisko and Daquise, as well as two Thai eateries nearby, Bangkok and Exhibition, and it takes only a short stroll down Brompton Road to find the Oratory and Bibendum, together with at least half a dozen others. No need to scuttle back Cinderella-like to ciabatta land or the southern wastes. This might be the west but it's not exactly the wild frontier.
