DEGW wins V&A

  • Comment

degw has won the major job to masterplan the development of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, defeating Rick Mather, Terry Farrell & Partners and Ian Ritchie Architects in the process. The job is to relate Daniel Libeskind's 'spiral' extension to the rest of the museum and represents something of a coup over the 'signature' architects. The six-month scheme study will aim to improve accessibility and address the Grade I- listed building's long-term aims as a leading centre of art and design.
