Several names familiar to readers of AJ Focus were winners in the annual Construct Marketing Awards, announced at a ceremony on 3 December. Ancon Building Products won the best technical literature category. The Charlotte Street Agency took the award for best use of advertising for its Thrislington Cubicles campaign and was also selected as agency of the year. Thermalite won campaign of the year, and Knauf Drywall took best use of technology. The best small budget campaign was by Prospus, and the best use of events and exhibitions was by Glen Dimplex. Red Communications won best use of PR for its work for Wood. for Good. Paul Bradshaw of RMC Packed Products was young marketer of the year.
