Confusion over where discussion took place

Rab Bennetts, in his talk at The Lighthouse the week before last, confined himself to the work of his practice.

He did not touch upon any such speculation as you report in your 'McCabe prospect' (Astragal, AJ 25.10.01).Maybe you have confused Rab's talk with the discussion of the Cross-Party Group on Architecture and the Built Environment on the role of the Royal Fine Art Commission for Scotland, organised by RIAS for the Scottish Parliament.

Chaired by Des McNulty MSP, it took place last Wednesday. Yet the discussion did not remotely accord with the 'McCabe prospect' which gives the impression of having been dreamt up by London-based institutions such as AJ.

Charles Prosser, secretary, Royal Fine Art Commission for Scotland
