Clydebank Re-built needs an architect-led design team to draw up a £1.3 million masterplan for a new factory on a brownfield site in Clydebank (pictured), outside Glasgow. Teams with expertise in repurposing brownfield sites for industrial use are preferred and tenders must be received by 6 September.
Ulidia Housing Association in Belfast has launched a competition to find an architect-led design team comprising: quantity surveyor, M&E engineer, civil and structural engineer, Code for Sustainable Homes assessor, CDM coordinator and landscape architect. The team will provide consultancy services for Ballymacoss Hill, a social housing scheme in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. The deadline for tenders is 14 September.
The Poultry Project’s 2010 Chicken Coop Design Competition is calling designers, engineers, architects and artists to design a chicken coop for use in urban or suburban backyards. The winning design will combine aesthetics and utility and will make creative use of local materials. Entries must be submitted by 10 October.
