New College Nottingham (pictured above) is on the hunt for a design team consortium to undertake the £13 million revamp of its Basford Hall. The building is the further-education college’s main construction training centre and it also houses two nurseries. The deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 21 June.
Danish waste-management company Amagerforbrænding has launched an architectural design contest for the façade of its new waste incineration plant in Denmark. Thankfully for UK practices, the competition language is English. All eligible entrants will receive an honorarium of 20,000 euros and the deadline for receipt of projects or requests to participate is 29 June.
Belfast-based Clanmil Housing Association is seeking an architect-led design team for a new-build development at Father Cullen Park, Bessbrook, Northern Ireland. The maximum budget for the 62-unit social housing project is £5.8 million and the deadline for receipt of tenders or requests to participate is 4 June.
