Ireland’s National Paediatric Hospital Development Board has restarted (AJ 24.02.12) its hunt for a team to design and deliver a new children’s hospital at St James’ Hospital, Dublin. The project will bring facilities together and includes an emergency department and 384 patient rooms [Expressions of interest due by 16 December].
Guildford Borough Council is looking for architect-led teams to deliver 24 new homes on council-owned sites. The housing will be split between two sites in Ladymead and Slyfield Green in Guildford. Teams should include engineers, quantity surveys and a project manager. The contract has a budget of £309,800 and is due to complete in 2017. [Requests to participate are due 1 December].
Leicester City Council Transport Strategy Team wants a team to take its proposed bus interchange from Stage E to L. The scheme is at Stage D. The authority needs architects to progress the concourse, ancillary buildings and landscaping on site. Civil and structural engineers have been appointed. [Responses are due by 29 November].
