To supplement its existing hotel and conference facilities, the University of Nottingham is looking for an architect to design a mid-range, 200-bedroom hotel, including its retaurant, kitchen and bar facilities. Shortlisting is by pre-qualification questionnaire, which must be received by 5 July.
As part of a four-year £15 million repair programme to its housing stock, Thenew Housing Association in Glasgow is seeking a consultant architect for works including the replacement of kitchens and bathrooms, new windows and doors, and new flooring and plasterwork. The deadline for receipt of tenders is 12 July.
Celebrate the Tiffany & Co. Foundation’s 10th anniversary by designing a drinking fountain for the USA branch of the Royal Parks Foundation, established to enable to US to support London’s Royal Parks. Tiffany & Co gave a £850,00 gift to the Royal Parks Foundation, and now a competition is being held to design a drinking fountain to be rolled out across the capital’s eight Royal Parks. The deadline for submissions is 22 September.
