Manchester Metropolitan University is on the hunt for an architect for its new 25,000m2 Faculty of Science and Engineering. Planned to complete in 2020 – the high-profile new faculty will replace the existing John Dalton West building (pictured, foreground) and other out-buildings on the university’s All Saints Campus. Swansea University is on the lookout for an architect for a ‘Computational Foundry’ on its new £450 million Bay Campus. Up to five teams will be shortlisted for the new computer science building located within Porphyrios Associates’ masterplan for the former BP oil depot site. Shettleston Housing Association is searching for an architect for the £3.8 million regeneration of the former St Mark’s School site in east Glasgow. The project will deliver 42 new houses and flats on land previously occupied by the primary school which burnt down three years ago. [Deadline for requests to participate 18 May]
