Research Council UK is seeking a design team for a new Advanced Metrology Laboratory in Teddington, Middlesex. Comprising an architect, structural engineer and civil engineer, the team will design a 800m² facility to house 20 laboratories. BIM capability is essential and a project manager, cost manager and CDM coordinator will be tendered in separate lots. The University of Kent is on the hunt for a design team for the Kent Business School and the School of Mathematics, Statistics and Actuarial Science. Planned as a new building or group of buildings, the facilities are expected to open to students in Spring 2016 and a contract will be awarded on 24 June [Requests to participate returned by 4 March]
Scotland’s Partick Housing Association is on the lookout for architects for a four year framework with an expected £12.8 million budget. Architects, quantity surveyors, CDM and structural engineers are required. Works under the framework will range from £5 million new builds to refurbishments of listed properties.
