Aberdeen City Council is looking for a multi-disciplinary design team to masterplan its city centre and Denburn Valley. The authority wants a ‘visionary and compelling template’ for development over the next 20 years. The scheme plan should also propose a ‘regeneration catalyst’ facility or feature of ‘outstanding architectural quality’. A £750,000 budget has been allocated to the project. Croydon Council has launched an open contest for pop-up and meanwhile projects with prize money totalling £7,000.
