Upgrading the RAF Museum, a new health centre in Dulwich and the interior fit-out of Washington DC’s science fiction museum. The editor’s pick of this week’s top competitions

The Royal Air Force (RAF) Museum in Hendon is on the hunt for a landscape architect and multi-disciplinary team to revitalise its grounds in time for the service’s centenary in 2018. The £23 million project is the first stage in delivering Wilkinson Eyre’s delayed, competition-winning masterplan for the north London site [Deadline for expressions of interest 22 September]

South London Health Partnerships is seeking an architect for a new 4,500m² health centre in Dulwich, south east London. An international design competition has been launched for the interior fit-out of a temporary science fiction museum in Washington DC. The contest features a £600 top prize and is open to students and professionals. The winner of a separate competition for the £1.2 million building’s exterior will be announced soon [Deadline for registration 31 October]
