The Museum of London (pictured) is seeking designs for a 200m2 extension to its Roman Gallery. A further 900m2 of refurbishment is also planned as part of the £4.5 million project. Feasibility studies are due to begin in December. The contract is for RIBA stages C to L and requests to participate must be made by 29 August.
Transport for London has tendered a three-year framework agreement contract for projects across the capital. Masterplans for underground and overground rail stations, as well as public realm landscape design, are among required work. Requests to participate must be made by 31 August.
The American Institute of Architects and the City of Sacramento have launched an international competition, seeking designs for the Californian city’s main road, Capitol Mall. The top prize is $20,000 and schemes must incorporate existing civic buildings, as well as two light rail lines. Registration ends 13 September.
