Cash for capital advice

London mayor Ken Livingstone is planning to pay Lord Rogers £130,000 a year to act as an architectural advisor on the capital.

The fee would be for consultative work on top of Lord Rogers'current role as cabinet member and is currently under negotiation by the GLA's budget committee.
