Campus control cuts lighting costs

  • Comment

Using an LDC lighting-management system from Eaton MEM 250 to sense occupancy and adjust light levels to natural lighting, Shooters Hill Post 16 Campus expects to achieve payback in two years as a result of energy savings. Lighting in each area is controlled by a combined passive infra-red presence detector and lux sensor with 1-10V dimming unit , which is connected to LDC lightingdistribution centres which form marshalling centres for connections to the fluorescent luminaires via sixpin Wieland connectors.
