CABE is to help a central London church select a team for a major design project. St Martin-in-theFields, James Gibbs' Grade I-listed 18th-century masterpiece, is to undergo a restoration and receive new spaces for delivering its services to homeless people. An advert has been placed in the OJEC. Paul Williams, partner at Stanton Williams and a member of CABE's enabling panel, is to help draw up a brief and select a winner.

Short-listed teams will receive an honorarium of £3,000. An appointment will be made in February.
