CABE goes to Wembley

  • Comment

The Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment (cabe) is set to meet Lord Foster about the new Wembley stadium project next week. Meanwhile, a report by Wakefield architect David Lyons and Associates on the £475 million stadium plans is due out next week. Sports minister Kate Hoey is understood to be thinking of demanding the stadium return a £120 million grant from Sport England because she is unhappy with the lack of emphasis on athletics with Foster and Partners' design. But Wembley National Stadium said it had spent the money buying the site.
