Hugh Broughton Architects and Ove Arup was the only British team shortlisted in an international competition to design a 30,000m2 extension to the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organisation in Geneva. The scheme (above) includes offices in three naturally-ventilated blocks on concrete shell transfer structures. Behnisch, Behnisch and Partner won the competition, which attracted 800 applications. The British Urban Regeneration Association is calling for nominations for its annual awards which recognise best practice in regeneration as well as successful partnerships in regeneration projects. The bura award is open to any urban regeneration project in the uk. Call 0800 0181260 for more details.
